Allow export to iLibrary of a database when it has archives, but no current datasets

We have at least one database in iLibrary that is no longer updated and therefore has come to the end of its life. This database is continued by a new database. We made the last archives of the current edition datasets, so now there are no current datasets.

When I select the DOI for the database http://dx.doi.org/10.1787/msit-data-en, I land on a page telling me "Content deleted". In fact this database is continued by http://dx.doi.org/10.1787/qits-data-en, but this is not shown on ilibrary as there has been no export since the archives were made.

If a database has archives but no current datasets, for us it is still valid and should be exported so that it can be "continued" or "replaced by" another or exist in its own right, with archives.

Ludivine, can you report on the test on dummy 0/0 edition?
Did it work?I might have missed an email but I do not know why it did not work

    Comment Edit

in the meeting it was agreed that no new developments would be done in iLibrary V1 export, unless there is a major problem which cannot be solved in any other way and unless management approves ressources and budget for it.
The agreement was to find a "contournement" for this database for the time being
This is why I am asking what is the result of your test

    Comment Edit

The test on the dummy 0/0 edition worked so that the database can now be seen, but we are left with a problem of the pink data button showing even though there is no OECD code in Kappa http://x-oecd-beta-01.ingenta.com/trade/data/monthly-statistics-of-international-trade_msit-data-en. As this is a fictional dataset, we don't really want to show a data button.

    Comment Edit

The test on the dummy 0/0 is not conclusive because of the problem of FTI removal bug (Technical story #12282). See email attached.

    Comment Edit

    Bug #12214 is continued here.
"The database Monthly Statistics of International Trade contains 6 datasets which have all been archived.
As this database is now continued by OECD Quarterly International Trade Statistics,http://kappa.oecd.org/v3/expression/Details/g2g48e14, the "continues" link was added in Kappa last week."
This database is still lost and we haven't found a satisfactory way to recover it, as long as the export rules for databases are not modified.
If a database has archives but no current datasets, for us it is still valid and should be able to be "continued" or "replaced by" another or exist in its own right.

This is the history of the issue, I will close it in the Kappa Project where it does not belong
